COLORADO OIL AND GAS COMMISSION- Concerned the augmentation of the current Oil and Gas Commission membership in order that the majority of members reflect the citizens at large. Title I to enable municipalities an alternative method of conducting election whereby candidates be selected in order of preference choice ranking. Click here for full text. MANAGEMENT OF MEDICAID EXPENDITURES FOR LONG-TERM CARE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES Pilot project to allow the State of Colorado to contract directly with certain counties for the management of Medicaid for long-term care and mental health services. Proposal was officially introduced in the Colorado House of Representatives, sponsored by Rep. Gayle Berry (R-Grand Junction) in January 2003 but was postponed indefinitely by the House Health Education Welfare and Institutions (HEWI) committee. Click here for full text. LOCAL REDEVLOPMENT (BIG BOX) POLICY Infill policy establishes a Government Corporate responsibility plan. The plan helps to regulate and stabilize future economic conditions of large commercial complexes including, but not limited to, those known as Big Box buildings.
